Abdurrahman Unal, M.D:

Dr. Unal serves as Medical Director of the Greater Harrisburg Cancer Center.  A board certified radiation oncologist, Dr Unal served his residency in therapeutic radiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.  He received additional training in radiation oncology at the prestigious M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

Prior to assuming his duties as Medical Director of the Greater Harrisburg Cancer Center in 1989, Dr. Unal served on the teaching staff at The Mary Imogene Bassette Hospital in Cooperstown, New York.

Dr. Ditlow serves as Associate Medical Director of the Greater Harrisburg Cancer Center.  A board certified radiation oncologist, Dr Ditlow served his residency in therapeutic radiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Prior to assuming his duties as Associate Medical Director of our Center, Dr. Ditlow served as the medical director of another local Cancer Center for 8 1/2 years.

  Dr. William Ying

Dr. Ying is a medical physicist with over 25 years of clinical practice and research.  From 1987 to 1990 , he worked with a post doctorate-program in medical physics at The Department of Radiation Oncology at Temple University, where he gained experience in all aspects of medical physics and research and development of new techniques in Radiation Oncology.

Since 1990, Dr Ying has worked at the Greater Harrisburg Cancer Center and Lebanon Valley Cancer Center.  He has 20 years High Dose Rate Brachytherapy experience and work with three dimensional conformal radiotherapy and intensity modulated radiation therapy.

Dr. Ying consults with the radiation oncologist in the design of computer plans and quality assurance to make radiotherapy an effective, accurate and scientific way to treat cancer.
